Ministries

The ministries at St. Mark are designed to reach each member of our church, our community, our country, and even our world. Spreading the good news found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our hope is to share God's blessings and share His message of love.
Benevolent
The benevolent ministry is designed to help those who are in need. Areas of ministry include: support for rent, utilities, clothing, financial support as required, food pantry and Community Christmas Food Boxes/Fellowship.
 
Brotherhood
Our gentlemen help in special ministries of support. Areas of ministry include: Prison Outreach, Home Repair and Winterizing, Automobile Check and Support Services, PUSH/Substance Abuse Support, Boys' Retreat, Boys' Basketball, Fishing and Church-wide Outreach.
 
Bus Ministry
The Bus Ministry provides transportation support for church activities; physical and spiritual support for riders and Church-wide outreach.
 
Matrons
The Matrons ministry addresses the critical issues of women ranging from ages 26-45. Areas of ministry include: Parenting and Family Support; Health Emphasis; Girls' Enhancement; Girls' Retreat and Church-wide outreach.
 
Senior Aid Society
Meeting the needs of the sick and bereaved, areas of ministry include: Home Care and Relief, Bereavement Support; Sick and Shut-In Visitation; Easter Baskets for the Sick; Samaritan's Purse (Aid to Foreign Children) and Church-wide Ministry.
 
Willing Workers
The Willing Workers organization provides care to our elderly. Areas of ministry include: nursing Home Ministry; Elderly family and health seminars and screening; Senior Citizen Day: Senior Citizens' Thanksgiving Luncheon; Senior Citizen Fun Activities; Center volunteer support and Church-wide ministry.
 
Young Adults
The Young Adult Ministry consists of those ranging in ages from high school graduates and beyond. They are active in our college ministry and provide support for Career Fair; Revival Kickoff and Valentine Fellowship.
 
Youth/Youth Council
A Youth Development Ministry for ages 10-18 assisting and encouraging youth in spiritual growth through the planning of mission and outreach activities during Wednesday Night Bible Study and Discipleship Training. Areas of ministries and activities include: Youth Revival, Vacation Bible School Outreach; Hallelujah Night; Sickle Cell Walk-A-thon; Coat Drive; Christmas Parade and Christmas Basket distribution.
